The recent Queen’s speech focused on a prison shake-up and coincided with the release of a review by Dame Sally Coates which seeks to reduce reoffending to reduce the annual £11bn cost to the taxpayer. The Use of Electronic Monitoring in Europe: UK and European Perspectives – London Conference
